Parties reach agreement on Constitution

The Democrats’ deputy chairman Dušan Petrović said that party managed to defend Vojvodina’s financial autonomy and that the investment funds for the province’s budget will amount to at least 200 million euros.

The agreement is the result of a political compromise, while the Democrats see the proposal enabling Serbia to accelerate its pace toward a better standard of living and the European integrations, Petrović said. He added that the DS had defended the European nature of the constitution, saying this was defined in the first article which guarantees the defense of the European principles and values.
