Mladić is in Serbia

Sarajevo daily Dnevni Avaz recently reported that Mladić is hiding near Nevesinja in Herzegovina, and a Belgrade daily wrote recently that Mladić had suffered his third stroke and is near death.

Nikiforov said that the Tribunal’s information continues to suggest that Mladić is in Serbia and that the Belgrade Government can arrest him and extradite him to The Hague.

Nikiforov suggested that this is why Serbia never tells the Tribunal directly that the Hague fugitive is not in Serbia, but rather simply states that it is doing everything it can to find and arrest him.
