Serbian foreign minister begins visit to Macedonia

BELGRADE, SKOPJE -- Serbian Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkić will begin a two-day visit to Macedonia on Sunday, during which he will meet top Macedonian officials.
He will also sign an agreement on cooperation between the two governments in the EU integration process.
Mrkić is due to meet Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, and Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki at whose invitation he will visit Skopje, the Serbian Foreign Ministry has released.
The officials will talk about everything that further strengthens good neighborly relations and cooperation, as well as prospects for boosting trade between the two countries, the release adds.
Mrkić and Poposki will sign a memorandum on cooperation between the governments of Serbia and Macedonia in the EU integration process, as well as a bilateral agreement on employment of family members of diplomatic and consular staff.
The visit will give a fresh impetus to the active political dialogue between Belgrade and Skopje, the Foreign Ministry concluded.
