Serbs block road in north Kosovo for more than hour

ZUBIN POTOK -- On Tuesday morning, businessmen and citizens from northern Kosovo kept Priština-Ribariće main road in Zubin Potok under blockade for more than one hour.
They were expressing their disagreement with the presence of Priština's customs officers at the administrative crossing of Brnjak.
At the roadway which is again passable after the blockade, the citizens prevented EULEX staff from reaching the Brnjak crossing with their vehicles, because, as they put it, they suspect that the EU mission is transporting Kosovo customs officers.
Still, several EULEX vehicles, which were stopped in Zubin Potok, managed to reach the administrative crossing by taking a detour.
Both lanes of the Priština-Ribariće road were blocked for little more than an hour by trucks and passenger vehicles.
As of late, the Brnjak crossing has been operating as an integrated crossing with Kosovo customs officers and police, EULEX staff and members of the Serbian Interior Ministry.
