Army chief meets with KFOR commander

NIŠ -- Serbian Army (VS) Chief of General Staff, Lt. Gen. Ljubiša Diković on Friday met with the commander of the NATO troops in Kosovo, KFOR, Volker Halbauer.
The meeting between the Serbian Army chief and the German general took place in the town of Niš, southern Serbia, and focused on the current security situation in the province and along the administrative line.
This was the first official meeting Dikić had with the newly-appointment KFOR sommander.
It was the high level meeting of Military Technical Agreement Joint Implementation Commission, which is composed of KFOR Commission and Commission of the representatives of Serbia's security forces.
The meetings are held regularly on various levels since 1999, for implementation of the Military Technical Agreement, the military said in a statement.
