Presidential motorcade incident driver "turns himself in"

BELGRADE -- The driver who intercepted the motorcade of Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić late on Wednesday has turned himself in to the police.
This was announced by Serbian Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivica Dačić on Thursday.
The prime minister told Tanjug that the police will carry out an extensive investigation into the incident.
On Wednesday afternoon, an unknown driver tried to cut in President Nikolić's motorcade several times.
The incident took place in New Belgrade around 18:00 CET, the Ministry of Interior had confirmed..
Prime Minister Dačić said earlier on Thursday that Nikolić's safety was not compromised at the time, whereas the office of the Serbian president did not wish to comment on the incident.
