Kosovo is Serbia’s internal issue, UNGA president says

MOSCOW -- UN General Assembly President Vuk Jeremić has stated that the issue of Kosovo is Serbia's internal issue.
He stressed that the UN took care of territorial integrity of its members, “which Serbia is and Kosovo is not”.
“When it comes to territorial integrity, as well as sovereignty, here in the UN we look after sovereignty and territorial integrity of the member states. Serbia is a member state while Kosovo is not and I do not expect that it ever will be,” Jeremić told Russia Today TV.
The former Serbian foreign minister said that his job was to look after sovereignty and territorial integrity of all UN members, including Serbia.
“Kosovo is Serbia’s internal issue, confirmed by parameters stated in the UN Security Council Resolution 1244,” Jeremić explained.
