SNS leader announces his presidential bid

Leader of the opposition Serb Progressive Party (SNS) and MP in the Serbian parliament Tomislav Nikolic on Friday announced that he would run for president. A date for the Serbian presidential ballot has not been set yet, but is expected to take place this year. Parliamentary and local elections are expected to be held in late April or early May.
