A Belgrade-based daily writes today that a new obstacle has come up on Serbia's already difficult road toward becoming candidate for EU membership. According to the Danas newspaper, Romania is determined to block a positive decision on the status bid "unless steps are taken urgently to improve the position of the Vlach minority (in Serbia)".
