The coalition consists of the Hungarian Hope Movement, Hungarian Civic Alliance, Democratic Community of Vojvodina Hungarians and Democratic Party of Vojvodina Hungarians.

Hungarian Hope Movement leader Laslo Balint told reporters that the biggest Vojvodina Hungarian party, Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM), did not attend the meetings and that the coalition did not count on them.

SVM leader Istvan Pastor said on Friday that his party would independently take part in the upcoming elections.

Hungarian Civic Alliance leader Laslo Rac Sabo has assessed that Vojvodina Hungarians needed “a movement for survival”.

According to the announcements, the four parties will jointly participate at all levels in the 2012 elections.
