KFOR commander Erhard Drews claims that two Serbs, Zvonko Veselinovic and his brother, were identified as organizers and leaders of the recent violent acts. The acts were committed against international soldiers on roadblocks Jarinje and Jagnjenica, said the German general. KFOR commander talks "organizers of violence" The violent attack at Jarinje was organized and headed by Zvonko Veselinovic while the conflict at Jagnjenica was led and masterminded by his brother, Drews claimed on Monday, and added that KFOR "has videos to support this claim". "The videos have been forwarded to EULEX which is closely cooperating with the Serbian authorities," said he. Drews added that Veselinovic was "unlucky as he was wounded in the neck" by a rubber bullet and is currently "out of the game". In his encounter with Serbian reporters - organized by the International Civilian Office (ICO) - Drews said that KFOR soldiers had permission to use live ammunition in both instances. Drews said that live ammunition was used "exclusively by those who confronted KFOR" and that KFOR soldiers' wounds were not caused by live ammunition only, but also came from "M75 hand grenades and Molotov cocktails". He said that "at least two grenades were thrown among KFOR soldiers and that some of them suffered burns while two soldiers, including the unit's commander, are still in hospital". Drews claims that all KFOR operations, including those at Jarinje and Jagnjenica, were carried out without victims, and that citizens were wounded " only after an attack on KFOR soldiers began".
