The best solution for northern Kosovo is an agreement with KFOR that would rule out the need for the barricades, Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic has said. He said that it was possible that Belgrade would not be able to convince the northern Kosovo Serb representatives to remove the barricades and added that it would not be good. But we have to know what we want,“ the interior minister stressed. When asked whether he fully supported President Boris Tadic's call to the northern Kosovo Serbs to remove the barricades, he said that the president had first called on KFOR to refrain from unilateral moves and then on Serbs to remove the barricades. The minister repeated that the problems in northern Kosovo had been caused by Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci and that KFOR and EULEX had allowed themselves to be Thaci's tools. Ivica Dacic
