Romania will withdraw 178 members of its police forces from Kosovo in December, the country's presidential office released on Monday.

Romania will withdraw 178 members of its police forces from Kosovo in December, the country's presidential office released on Monday. Romanian president’s cabinet did not state the reason for making such a decision which was brought by the country's Supreme Council of National Defense. Romania to withdraw police officers from Kosovo The Romanian police in Kosovo are part of EULEX and KFOR missions. Romania did not recognize unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo, but the country kept its forces in the province, which, however, did not take part in missions that could be interpreted as the recognition of the Kosovo state. The Romanian police in Kosovo are part of EULEX and KFOR missions.
