Barricades on a road leading to Jarinje administrative crossing near the town of Leposavic were removed late last night, Tanjug has reported. Serbs in Leposavic and Zupce started removing the barricades last night, but the barricade in the village of Rudare will remain in place. According to the agreement, KFOR vehicles are allowed to travel freely in the entire territory of northern Kosovo. It is expected that KFOR will respect the agreement with the Serbian government on free movement of goods through Jarinje and Brnjak crossings. Serbs have been blocking the major roads in north Kosovo for two weeks, protesting against Kosovo government's plan to establish its institutions in this part of the southern Serbian province. Northern Serbs' political representatives said last night they would remain united and persistent in their goal to keep the area within the Republic of Serbia. There were no incidents at the barricades last night. Serbs will decide whether to remove the barricades or not based on the situation in the field.
