Serbia will not get a green light for EU negotiations until its European partners are convinced it will reach an agreement with Pristina, daily Blic writes. According to the daily, “at this point it means that Serbia can only expect to get the candidate status by the end of the year”. Daily: No EU without agreement with Pristina The first, irreversible step on the European path, setting a date for the beginning of the negotiations, still remains an unattainable goal since Serbian and Albanian side have not solved a single open issue after three rounds of negotiations, Blic reports. “Enlargement is one process and the dialogue is another, but an obligation that all Western Balkans countries need to fulfill is a good regional cooperation,” EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton’s Spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic told the daily.
