There are no similarities between Kosovo and Sandzak in any way, Minister of Labor and Social Policy Rasim Ljajic has stated. Minister: Sandzak not like Kosovo "There is no potential in Sandzak for opening of a new hotbed, just like there was none in the 1990s, when the region was mentioned as a potential new spot," said he, adding that one can not rule out a possibility of further incidents similar to those that occurred in recent days. In terms of divisions among the Bosniak community, leader of the Social Democratic Party of Serbia said in an interview published by daily Politika on Saturday that, provided there is enough intelligence and maturity, these differences will be overcome because otherwise the community does not have any future. Ljajic underscored that he is ready to do everything to reduce divisions and confrontations. “That is why we are focused on solving some economic problems in an attempt to find something mutual in that area,” said Ljajic. Speaking about the policy on Kosovo pursued at present, Ljajic said that he would describe it as a policy of middle way between two extreme solutions or two extreme tactics, and as the only possible at the moment, "since Belgrade's maneuvering space is rather narrow".
