SNS delegation attends United Russia congress
22 November 2009 | 12:08 | Source: Tanjug
SAINT PETERSBURG -- A Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) delegation, led by its President Tomislav Nikolić, attended the 11th United Russia Congress in St Petersburg.

The SNS delegation took part in a forum entitled “Social Responsibility of Political Parties During the Global Economic Crisis” on Saturday.

Nikolić said that the SNS delegation had met with United Russia leaders and agreed on “close and intensified cooperation" between the two parties, adding that the things Russia could do to help Serbia could be established through meetings such as this one.

Mentioning that a Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) delegation was also present at the congress, Nikolić stated that "other parties from Serbia, which would like to take part in this joint effort of patriotic parties for making the world a better place should be here as well."
