5 November 2009 | 20:49 | Source: Tanjug
BELGRADE -- The Serbian government adopted on Thursday the bill on defining the authorities of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

The bill, according to the government media office, harmonizes the province's authorities with the Serbian Constitution, conducts the decentralization process in a consistent manner and it grants a broad autonomy to Vojvodina, but without any elements of statehood.

The draft law and the draft Vojvodina statute are adopted by the Serbian parliament.
