DS official: Dialogue between Serbia, Holland important
31 October 2009 | 09:08 | Source: B92
BELGRADE -- Democratic Party (DS) official Dragoljub Mićunović said that the Serbian delegation’s visit to the Dutch parliament began an important process of dialogue.

Mićunović, who led the delegation, told B92 that even though the stances of the two countries continue to differ regarding Belgrade’s level of cooperation with the Hague Tribunal, the dialogue between Serbian and Dutch parliamentary officials is encouraging.

He said that the dialogue is important because it is the first of its kind between the two countries.

The delegation visiting the Dutch parliament also included officials of the opposition.

Ivan Andrić of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) said that the visit was very important because the Serbian delegation took a united stance despite the political differences between ruling and opposition parties.
