28-year-old Brice Taton was attacked on September 17 by football hooligans, ahead of a game between Serbia's Partizan FC and French Toulouse.

He sustained a severe head injury.

Serbian police (MUP) two days later arrested 11 persons in connection to the incident.

Initially, ten of those were remanded in custody for 30 days for attempted murder and for attacking the French visitors in a brutal and vicious manner.

Today, State Public Prosecutor Slobodan Radovanoviæ announced that the suspects would face aggravated murder charges.

One of those arrested is aged 27, while the others are 18 to 22 years old, it has been revealed.
