I expect a decision by the constructional court on our first initiative soon,” she said. Milan Antonijevic of the Committee of Attorneys for Human Rights told B92 that he hopes that the state will take the problem more seriously this time and prohibit the work of such organizations. He said that there are already two such initiatives that have been issued, one by the Justice Ministry and one by the Human and Minority Rights Ministry. “A lot of documentation has been given to the prosecution with proof of why organizations such as 1389 should be banned. Unfortunately, the prosecution has not reacted to these demands and I hope that now, with more pressure from the public, and these events themselves, they will react differently and initiate the process,” Antonijevic said.
