Belgrade, Ljubljana become "sister cities"
The mayors of Belgrade and Ljubljana, Dragan Đilas and Zoran Janković, announced a further improvement of cooperation between the two cities.

The mayors of Belgrade and Ljubljana, Dragan Djilas and Zoran Jankovic, announced a further improvement of cooperation between the two cities. They also said on Friday in the Serbian capital that they would be signing of a town twinning agreement. Belgrade, Ljubljana become "sister cities" At a news conference in the Serbian parliament building, Jankovic pointed to the successful cooperation in many sectors between the residents of the two cities, and said that today's visit of a Slovenian delegation, headed by Premier Borut Pahor, their cooperation would get even better in future, particularly economy-wise. "I hope that the cooperation we will agree upon in the next couple of days will contribute to the further enhancement of the two-way cooperation, and I also hope that we will sign an agreement on the twinning of the two cities," the mayor of Ljubljana said.
