Parliament has adopted laws on debt repayments for health and national insurance; a new session is due to continue next week on a package of judicial laws.

On Wednesday as the session started, only the meeting's agenda was adopted, while the debate in general should start on Tuesday next week.
The agenda includes changes to the Law on Misdemeanors, the draft law on public purchasing, changes to the Law on Deposit Guarantees, changes to the Law on the Deposit Insurance Agency, as well as changes to the Law on Bankruptcy and Bank Solvency and Insurance Companies.
Also featuring are changes to the Law on Travel Documents, the Law on Civil Servants, and a draft law on associations.
The adoption of the new laws on state debt repayments will enable companies to pay off their debts on a regular basis.
The debts in question date back to the 1990s, to which interest was only subsequently added.
Parliament also rubber-stamped the retirements of Supreme Court Judge Danica Bogdanović and Belgrade District Court Judge Radmila Stajić.
Angry opposition
After the Serbian parliament on Wednesday determined the agenda for the next session, DSS, SRS and NS MPs protested because their no-confidence motion against the government was not included in the agenda.
They accused Parliament Speaker Slavica Đukić-Dejanović of violating the constitution and rules of procedure because she did not allow a debate on this initiative to start today, while the ruling majority "deliberately avoided the debate on the deployment of EULEX in Kosovo-Metohija".
DSS MP Slobodan Samardžić urged that the no-confidence vote should be included in today's session.
The reasons for the postponement, he said, were attempts to avoid the debate "on what the government is doing regarding the deployment of EULEX, because the government wants to smuggle it to Kosovo-Metohija".
Zoran Krasić (SRS) warned about the possible consequences if the debate on EULEX does not open in time.
Đukić-Dejanović, SPS, announced that, "in line with the constitution and the rules of procedure the initiative by the group of opposition deputies will be included in the agenda for the next session of parliament, after the end of the session which began on Wednesday".
