Jeremić attends Arab League summit

BELGRADE -- Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić is traveling to Egypt today where he will take part in the Arab League summit.

He will hold bilateral meetings with the organization's secretary general, Amr Moussa, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit, and others taking part in the gathering, a statement issued in Belgrade said today.

Jeremić will tell his interlocutors about Belgrade's initiative, due to be taken before the UN General Assembly later this month, to have the International Court of Justice, ICJ, give its opinion on the legality of the Kosovo Albanians' unilateral declaration of independence.

Serbia rejects this proclamation and its recognitions, and will seek support from the UN member states for its ICJ move.
