BELGRADE -- Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić, DS, is on a one-day working visit to Argentina Monday.
The visit comes at the invitation of Argentine Foreign Minister Jorge Taiana.
The two ministers will focus on the Kosovo status situation, following the unilateral proclamation of independence by the interim authorities of Priština, it was announced.
Jeremić will convey to Taiana, whose country currently chairs the Southern Common Market MERCOSUR, Serbia's stand on the issue, "and point out the possible repercussions that such an act in violation of international law can have on security in the world", a statement issued in Belgrade said.
Argentina is one of the countries that have earlier announced they will not recognize Kosovo's secession.
