Ragip Zekoli, a member of Kosovo's assembly, has requested political asylum in Belgium. Albanian language daily newspaper Koha Ditore said in a report today Zekoli (DSK) has requested political asylum in Belgium because of "constant death threats." Kosovo lawmaker seeks asylum in Belgium Foreign media, Koha Ditore said, reported that Zekoli left Kosovo because he was facing death threats. Zekoli started receiving messages threatening his life in 2002, and they became more frequent in the past years. Zekoli was at one time president of the government commission for missing persons.
