BELGRADE --
Sanda Rašković-Ivić said that Serbia would be willing to divide Kosovo if there is no other long-term solution.

The President of the Kosovo Coordination Centre said that if Serbs and Albanians faced the fact that living together is impossible, and if the international accepts this fact as well, then a division of Kosovo which all sides can agree upon could be reached.
In an interview with BBC, Sanda Rašković-Ivić repeated the stance of the Serbian Government that Kosovo must maintain its essential autonomy within Serbia and that if this is not respected, then a division would be the best solution.
She also forwarded to UNMIK statistics documenting the chronological crimes committed against Serbs in Kosovo in the last seven years and has asked for the perpetrators to be arrested and punished by law.
”It is your obligation to explain why they are not in prison if they are not. It is my obligation to remind you if you have forgotten about this, and I will continue to do so,” she stated.
