“Croatia, Slovenia staged border incidents”

Janez Janša is the leader of the Slovenian Democratic Party which won  parliamentary elections in that country in 2004.

According to Rop, Janša and Sanader colluded to deliberately incite border incidents.

These arrangements were allegedly intercepted and recorded by Slovenian Intelligence Agency SOVA.

Ljubljana Dnevnik was the first to publish these allegations over the weekend.

Sanader reacted to the daily’s writings and Rop’s accusations by stating he expected to hear clarification from Anton Rop, adding that he was convinced “he had not been placed under SOVA’s surveillance, which was supposedly only after Janša.”

Sanader announced he would demand explanation through diplomatic channels as well.
