SKOPJE the World Bank's Board of Directors approved Thursday to grant Macedonia US$ 30 mn, media reported. The government will use the resources to improve the country’s investment climate and public sector management. World Bank to grant Macedonia US$ 30mn This is the second out of three loans that the World Bank has pledged to grant Macedonia for a period of three to four years. The loans are aimed at assisting the structural and institutional reforms necessary for Macedonia to come close to applying European Union standards.
