UNMIK officials stated that Kosovo Serb communities owe the Kosovo power corporation KEK) about EUR 87mn.

Serbs owe KEK EUR 87mn

There are ongoing energy restrictions in Kosovo currently.

Group A, citizens who regularly pay their bills, will have electricity all day while Group B will be without power for two hours after every four hours with electricity, while Group C receives the electricity that is left.

Several Serbian reporters mentioned during the press conference that there were restriction in Serbian communities during June.

UNMIK EU Pillar spokesperson Angela Griep said that because of problems within KEK, there were restrictions imposed throughout Kosovo.
