The appeals court in Colmar, France, will on March 2 announce its decision on Serbia's request to extradite Ramush Haradinaj.

French court to decide on Haradinaj extradition March 2

The Colmar court has three options, Sandra di Rosa said in a statement to Tanjug - to ask for additional information and request further consideration of the case in the next session, respond positively to Serbia's extradition request, or reject it.

In case the decision is positive, the French government will decide whether Haradinaj would in fact be extradited to Serbia.

If the court rejects the extradition request, Serbia will have no right to appeal the decision.

Haradinaj, an ethnic Albanian politician and a former leader of the KLA ("Kosovo Liberation Army"), is wanted in Serbia on war crimes charges.
