An appeals court in Colmar, France, has ruled Haradinaj would remain in prison until Serbia made a formal request for his extradition, Reuters reported.

Serbia issued the international arrest warrant for the ethnic Albanian politician - a former leader of the KLA ("Kosovo Liberation Army"), who in the past also served as Kosovo's prime minister - on charges of war crimes, terrorism, and other grave criminal acts committed in 1998 and 1999.
