32 human trafficking victims - mostly women and girls - have been identified in Serbia this year and in ten cases the victims were minors.

Astra, an organization dealing with the problem of human trafficking and different forms of exploitation, stressed that it is necessary to urgently form a strategy and an action plan to curb and prevent them, as well as to protect victims, as the last strategy expired in 2011.Each year we mark the EU Anti-Trafficking Day with devastating numbers of victims and potential victims of human trafficking, poor results in terms of curbing it and unsuitable solutions for the refugee issue and identification of victims within that population, the statement said.
