Two nurses killed by SUV in northern Serbia accident
Two nurses, aged 28 and 30, died in a traffic accident late on Thursday in Basaid near Kikinda, northern Serbia, while on their way to work.

The Land Rover had Austrian number plates and was driven by 33-year-old N.Z. from Belgrade, daily Vecernje Novosti is reporting.The local police did not say what caused the accident, but the paper learned unofficially that the Land Rover, approaching from an access road, did not stop to give way to the Ford which was driving along the highway, and instead collided with it at high speed.
According to the newspaper, there have been ten traffic accidents at the same intersection in the village of Basaid over the past several years.
