The house, which burned down completely, was owned by late Mladen Dabizljević, whose 70-year-old wife lived in it before the incident, Radosavljević said in a statement to Tanjug.

The woman was in central Serbia when the attack happened, according to reports.

Around 20 Serb returnee families live in Drsnik and are very frightened by the most recent incident, Tanjug said.

The Beta agency quoted the Serbian Commissariat for Refugees official Božidar Šarković who confirmed that the incident took place and said the house that was set on fire last night was built for the returnees in 2007.

This is the third house that has burned since that time, while 20 others were damaged.

Šarković noted that a total of 50 homes were rebuilt in the village by the Kosovo government with the help of donors. Before the 1999 war, 130 Serb families lived there, while today there are 25.

The Drsnik incident was the fourth in the region in just a few days, after a car owned by a Serb was torched in Gnjilane and the Kosovska Mitrovica municipality building attacked on two occasions with stones and Molotov cocktails. A house owned by Dragan Kunić was attacked with rocks in Klina late on Sunday.
