Ivanović has been held in custody in Priština for over a month. Last week, his detention was extended for two more months.

Ivanović's lawyer Nebojša Vlajić told Tanjug that his client has "only one demand" - to be transfered from Priština, and to a detention unit in Kosovska Mitrovica.

Ivanović, who was a candidate in mayoral elections in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, was arrested on January 27.

He is accused of taking part in alleged war crimes in 1999, and in post-war incidents that included aggravated murder.
