According to media reports, he is now being held in 48-hour custody as the prosecution believes he was involved in a scheme related to the renting of business premises located in New Belgrade.

The Serbian police said that as a result, the municipal budget suffered losses of over RSD 1.5 million.

Six others have been detained, and all are currently held in 48-hour police custody.

The Belgrade-based daily Blic and Serbia's public broadcaster RTS are reporting that Director of the Poslovni Prostor-Novi Beograd public company Miša Marković is among those detained.
