NIS A member of the MUP Gendarmerie squad in the town of Nis, southern Serbia, has been placed under arrest on Thursday morning, RTS reported. The policeman, identified as Aleksandar R., is suspected of shooting multiple times and killing a man, whose body was found yesterday in a car parked in a Nis neighborhood. Gendarme arrested on suspicion of murder The suspect was detained on a border crossing with Montenegro, as he was attempting to leave the country. The police Nis meanwhile arrested three more people, on suspicion that they failed to report a crime and its perpetrator. RTS
