BELGRADE The Appellate Court on Friday extended custody of Delta Holding owner Miroslav Miskovic, his son Marko Miskovic and Nibens Group owner Milo Djuraskovic. The court extended their custody up to three months. Appellate Court extends custody for Delta Holding owner Miroslav and Marko Miskovic, Djuraskovic and another seven persons, who were released pending trial, are suspected of abuses in road maintenance and construction companies and incurring damages worth around EUR 30mn. A motion for extension of custody was filed by the Organized Crime Prosecution. Organized Crime Prosecutor Miljko Radisavljevic told B92 that the prosecution did not agree with defense lawyers’ proposal to replace the custody with a milder measure. He noted that Miroslav and Marko Miskovic’s attorneys proposed that their clients be released on bail, placed under house arrest with electronic surveillance or have their passports seized. “The prosecution believes that it is necessary to extend the suspects’ custody for another month because the investigation in the case is underway and it is necessary to perform certain procedures,” Radisavljevic said. Miroslav and Marko Mišković, Đurašković and another seven persons, who were released pending trial, are suspected of abuses in road maintenance and construction companies and incurring damages worth around EUR 30mn.

A motion for extension of custody was filed by the Organized Crime Prosecution.
