BELGRADE The police have arrested ten people suspected of illegal appropriation of 327 hectares of state-owned land valued at almost EUR 320 million. This was announced by Serbia's PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic. Ten arrested on suspicion of "theft of state land" The police are searching for Slobodan Scekic, owner and managing board director of Sloga Kac. He is believed to have illegally obtained the land with the assistance of the other suspects, a group which includes an advisor to the state public defender, a court expert witness, a former employee of the Ministry of Agriculture and employees of the state geodetic institute.
