PRISTINA Former commander of the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) Fatmir Limaj was arrested by EULEX on Saturday afternoon. Limaj and another three suspects were arrested for war crimes in the village of Klecka. EULEX Spokeswoman Irina Gudeljevic told B92 that EULEX had arrested three persons suspected of war crimes in Kosovo. Daily Blic writes that EULEX, aside from Limaj, arrested former KLA members Nexhmi Krasniqi, Naser Shala and Naser Krasniqi. The Supreme Court of Kosovo overturned the initial ruling that stopped the criminal prosecution of Limaj and four of his fellow combatants for war crimes in Klecka last week. The case was returned to the District Court in Pristina. Limaj, who is a Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) deputy leader and an MP in the Kosovo assembly, and a group of his associates are charged with murder of civilians and prisoners of war in the KLA illegal detention center in Klecka. A EULEX judge questioned Limaj late on Saturday and remanded him in custody for 30 days.

Daily Blic writes that EULEX, aside from Limaj, arrested former KLA members
