Unknown attackers opened fire on a Serbian police (MUP) checkpoint near the village of Dobrosin, on the administrative line between Kosovo and central Serbia.

VRANJE Unknown attackers opened fire on a Serbian police (MUP) checkpoint near the village of Dobrosin, on the administrative line between Kosovo and central Serbia. There have been no reports of casualties on Monday morning, from the attack that happened last night. Police checkpoint in south attacked once again The police checkpoint is located some 100 meters from the administrative line. In May and June, it came under attack from ethnic Albanian terrorists on two occasions. Dragan Stamenkovic, a spokesperson for the police administration in the nearby town of Vranje police administration, said on Monday morning that competent bodies informed KFOR about the attack. The first attack on the outpost took place on May 17, 2012, after which Prime Minister Ivica Dacic announced that ethnic Albanian terrorists came from the village of Stubline, and opened fire some 100-150 meters from the checkpoint. The second attack took place on June 28, leaving policeman Branislav Mirkovic from Bujanovac slightly injured. Three days later, EULEX police in Kosovo accused five persons of terrorism and participation in a terrorist group. Two persons were put in custody, while the other three were deprived of passports. The village of Dobrosin with about 150 households and around 740 inhabitants is located 16 kilometers west from Bujanovac on the administrative line. In this village, the so-called Liberation Army of Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac was formed early in January 2000. The police checkpoint is located some 100 meters from the administrative line.

In May and June, it came under attack from ethnic Albanian terrorists on two occasions.
