The authorities believe that remains of 26 Serbs who went missing in 1998 were buried at the location.
The mixed team will carry out an investigation into the cause of the fire and determine whether this was an accident or arson, EULEX released in a statement.
The report will be made after the investigation and conclusions released.
The cause of the fire which broke out last weekend in Žilivode is still unknown.
The families of persons kidnapped or gone missing in Kosovo believe that somebody purposefully set the fire at the site in order to destroy the evidence about the existence of a mass grave in Žilivode holding the remains of 26 Serb civilians, including nine miners from the Belaćevac coal mines who were kidnapped in 1998.
