Unknown persons threw hand grenades at the Brnjak administrative crossings in northern Kosovo two times early on Tuesday morning. This is according to regional spokesman for the Kosovo police (KPS) Salii Mehmeti. Unknown attackers throw hand grenades at Brnjak Mehmeti said an investigation was underway, adding that one hand grenade had exploded while the other had not. He said that nobody had got injured in the attack. The crossing was closed after the attack and KFOR and EULEX deployed additional staff there for security reasons. The administrative crossing is located on the main road between the city of Kosovska Mitrovica, northern Kosovo, and the village of Ribarice on the central Serbia side.
