Serb Radical Party (SRS) official Nemanja Sarovic says the Hague Tribunal is disabling Vojislav Seselj’s defense by refusing to pay for his attorney's expenses. “The Hague Tribunal has practically disabled Vojislav Seselj’s defense which violates his human and procedural rights by refusing to pay for travel expenses of his legal council Dejan Mirovic,” Sarovic told a press conference. Seselj was sentenced to 15 months in the first and to 18 months in prison in the second trial for contempt of court after he revealed confidential information about protected witnesses. The SRS leader is charged with crimes against humanity and violation of the laws and customs of war in Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Vojvodina from 1991 until 1993.
