The four suspects that were released pending trial are Former Privatization Monitoring Center Director Julijana Vuckovic, as well as three assessment planners- Jovan Udicki, Jelica Ivkovic and Milan Cveticanin. Following the hearing which lasted until early morning hours, an investigating judge launched an inquiry into allegations against all seven suspects due to the abuse of office for an extended period of time. A warrant should be issued for two foreign nationals Vitmandis Kucinkas and Simonas Kasus who are included in the request for investigation, but the decision should also be delivered by the Higher Court in Belgrade. The suspects are charged with various violations in relation to the privatization of the Azotara Pancevo, particularly the production facility “Karbamid 2”. They are suspected of stripping the budget of the Republic of Serbia of nearly RSD 1bn (around EUR 8.3mn), and thus acquiring the unlawful gain of nearly RSD 5.4mn. They may face up to 12 years in prison. A view of Azotara Pancevo (Dragan Dovatov) Tanjug
