Daily Danas has learned that the U.S. Congress is preparing questions for Serbia regarding journalist Slavko Curuvija’s murder. The questions will refer to the investigation and its perspective. U.S. Congress to urge Serbia to solve journalist’s murder Curuvija was murdered on April 11, 1999 and it still has not been discovered who committed the murder and who ordered it. Several U.S. congressmen share concern of his family, journalist associations and civil sectors over the inefficient process and want to encourage the Serbian authorities to approach the investigation with increased responsibility and persistence. According to the daily, the questions would soon be forwarded to Serbia’s Interior and Foreign Ministers Ivica Dacic and Vuk Jeremic who will attend the Prayer Breakfast in Washington. According to the daily, the questions would soon be forwarded to Serbia’s Interior and Foreign Ministers Ivica Dačić and Vuk Jeremić who will attend the Prayer Breakfast in Washington.

Dačić and Jeremić will hold separate meetings with U.S. officials and institutions, including the Congress.
