EULEX Special Prosecutors Office in charge of organized crime decided not to launch criminal proceedings against three persons arrested in Zubin Potok. The three were arrested yesterday in this northern Kosovo town by EULEX police backed by KFOR, said reports. Men arrested in north to be released Dejan Vasic, the lawyer for one of the defendants, told Tanjug that the EULEX Prosecutors Office for organized crime had given up on the idea of launching criminal proceedings against Nikola Radovanovic, Dusan Milovic and Srdjan Aleksic. “The men were brought in yesterday on suspicion of being involved in organized crime. However, the Prosecution decided not to launch criminal proceedings against them, and they will be free to return to their homes today,” Vasic said. The residents of Zubin Potok blocked on Tuesday part of the Kosovska Mitrovica-Zubin Potok road near Djurovici, which is closed for traffic. Regional spokesman of the Kosovo Police Service (KPS) Besim Hoti told Tanjug earlier today that the people had gathered to protest over the arrest of the three Serbs, demanding their immediate release.
