"Army is not hiding Hague fugitives"

Military Security Agency (VBA) chief Svetko Kovac says Ratko Mladic and Goran Hadzic are not hiding in the facilities under the control of the Defense Ministry. “No member of the Ministry or the (Serbian) Army is in any way involved in their hiding,” Kovac said in an interview for the daily Danas, underlining that one of the priority tasks of the VBA members is to help track down and arrest the Hague fugitives. "Army is not hiding Hague fugitives" “Every day we have information pouring down from various sources telling us about the alleged hiding places of The Hague indictees and the network of their protection. The methodology of checking such information has improved a lot. We check all the information we get very carefully, and then make estimates and decide on our further steps,” Kovac said. The VBA director pointed to the good coordination in the work of security departments, which are exchanging information on a regular basis.
