“Kalinić killed other Zemun gangsters”

Sretko Kalinic “killed, chopped and minced” a fellow fugitive Zemun Clan gangster, while another is now buried near the Belgrade-Zagreb highway. Kalinic also named accomplices in the murder, who painted the apartment in which Jurisic was killed in order to hide the bloodstains. He also said that he killed Konstantinovic in Serbia and buried him close to the Zagreb-Belgrade highway, Nacional writes. Kalinic told police about the murder in Belgrade of protected witness Zoran Vukojevic aka Vuk, who he said was killed on orders of Milorad Ulemek aka Legija. B92 has learned that there is a possibility that even more former Zemun Clan members have been killed in similar ways. Earlier, reports said that three fugitive Zemun Clan members, Jurisic, Konstantinovic and Vladimir Milosavljevic aka Budala might have been killed by Kalinic and Simovic. According to reports from Zagreb, Kalinic has admitted to other murders in Serbia and Croatia. Simovic is now in custody in Serbia, while Milosavljevic remains at large. Both Simovic and Kalinic have been tried and sentenced in absentia in Belgrade for their role in the 2003 murder of Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, when they received 30 years in prison each, and a further 40 years for 19 other murders.
